Since our founding on April 6th, 2014, our passion has remained the same: to see lives transformed by the Gospel, believers established in God’s truth, and communities impacted through Christ-like living.
At Selfless City, the Church is a community where people are formed, equipped, and sent to influence the world for Christ. Every gathering, teaching, ministry, and outreach exists to help believers grow into mature disciples who faithfully represent Jesus in every area of life.

Our desire is to see every believer grow beyond simply attending church into becoming a mature follower of Christ whose life reflects His love, wisdom, and character.
Spiritual growth is intentional. Through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, fellowship, and discipleship, we provide an environment where believers can continually grow in faith and purpose.
Our foundation & identity
Selfless City began as Standard Life Christian Centre, founded with a clear conviction that believers should be established on sound biblical doctrine rather than cultural trends or personal opinions.
From the beginning, our focus has been on sound biblical teaching, spiritual formation, Christ-like character, intentional discipleship, and raising mature believers. These foundations continue to shape everything we do today.
As the ministry grew, a clearer expression of its identity emerged. Selfless City was not introduced as a new direction or a change of doctrine. It became the name that best expressed the heart of the vision God had already established.
We are a people formed by Christ, a community built on covenant values, a movement shaped by spiritual discipline and biblical truth, and a culture where believers choose God’s purpose above personal ambition.
Lasting transformation happens when people consistently encounter God’s Word, submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and grow within a healthy community of believers.
Our identity is rooted in living beyond self-interest and becoming faithful representatives of Christ’s Kingdom in our homes, workplaces, communities, and nations.
