Pastor Paul Adumoha is the Senior Pastor of Selfless City—Standard Life Christian Centre—an Apostolic Presence Centre dedicated to raising disciples with strong Christian values centred on holiness and selflessness.

His ministry is marked by a passion for sound doctrine, spiritual formation, leadership development, and transformation through the power of God’s Word. At its heart is one vision: to raise saints with a selfless spirit who faithfully represent Christ in every sphere of society.

Early life

Formed in Benin City

Born on 9 September 1978 in Benin City, Edo State, Pastor Paul is the youngest of six children. He grew up in a close-knit family that shaped his appreciation for faith, discipline, and service.

A life changed by Christ

The defining encounter

At Edokpolor Grammar School, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ through Scripture Union. Hungry to grow, he joined Christ Ascension Church, Upper Mission, where his spiritual growth and gift for evangelism quickly became evident.

Age 17

Early leadership

Called to serve young

Within months, he was appointed Youth Evangelist and later Local Church President. At 17 he was commissioned to pastor a branch in Uselu, Benin City—one of the youngest pastors in the ministry at the time.

Mentoring a generation

He later served as Vice President of Christian Fellowship International, the Church of God Mission campus fellowship, investing in students and strengthening campus ministry. These years laid the foundation for a lifetime of faithful ministry and servant leadership.

Pastor Paul studied Accounting at the Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu. His commitment to continuous learning led to professional development through Dunlop Stone University, USA, other executive programmes, and a Master’s degree from Caleb University, Lagos.

Alongside ministry, he built an outstanding career in logistics. Through diligence, integrity, and consistent excellence, he rose to become General Manager of DSV in 2019 and was recognised as the company’s Best Performing Staff for four consecutive years.

This experience allows him to bring practical organisational wisdom to biblical leadership, equipping believers to thrive spiritually and professionally.

The birth of Selfless City

A clear mandate.
An enduring foundation.

On 6 April 2014, Pastor Paul founded Selfless City—Standard Life Christian Centre—in Lagos, Nigeria, with a mandate to make disciples with strong Christian values centred on holiness and selflessness.

As the ministry grew, the name Selfless City became a clearer expression of its identity. Its foundation remained unchanged: raising believers rooted in Scripture, formed in Christ-like character, and equipped to influence society for God’s Kingdom.

Through evangelism, intentional discipleship, sound biblical teaching and partnerships, the church now has footprints in Lagos, Oyo and Kogi states, while reaching many more through digital platforms.

Pastor Paul is joyfully married to Mrs. Gloria Adumoha. Together they are blessed with three daughters: Joanna, Hephzibah, and Favour.

He values family deeply and believes healthy homes are foundational to healthy churches and strong societies. He enjoys studying God’s Word, listening to biblical teachings, and following football as a devoted Chelsea supporter.
